Server Staff
An overview of the staff roles, responsibilities, application process, and team expectations at BladeSMP.eu. Learn how to join as a Helper, Developer, or Designer, and progress through the staff ranks

BladeSMP.eu relies on a dedicated staff team to ensure smooth server operation, enforce rules, and maintain a professional and friendly community environment. We regularly open applications for Helpers, Developers, and Designers. Each role contributes uniquely to the server’s functionality, community support, and visual identity.
1. Staff Roles & Responsibilities
1.1 Helper
Monitors chat and voice channels to ensure players follow the rules.
Handles tickets, assists players, and provides general support.
Maintains a professional and respectful demeanor at all times.
Supports in-game supervision when necessary.
1.2 Developer
Sets up, configures, and optimizes server software, proxy, plugins, and bots.
Works behind the scenes to ensure smooth server operation and performance.
1.3 Designer
Expands and maintains the server’s corporate identity.
Creates banners, thumbnails, logos, and other visual content.
2. Staff Rank Progression
Staff members can advance through ranks based on performance and dedication:
JR Helper → Helper → SR Helper → JR Mod → Mod → SR Mod → JR Admin → Admin → SR Admin → Manager
Advancement depends on your behavior, skills, and contribution.
Exceptional staff may even skip ranks.
3. Application Requirements
Only German applicants are accepted.
Applicants must have basic English skills and the ability to communicate verbally (writing alone is not sufficient).
Minimum age: 16 years (or 15 with special exception).
Submit a detailed PDF application, comparable to real-life job applications.
If your application passes initial review, you will be invited to a personal interview.
4. Test Phase & Activity Requirements
Accepted JR Helpers enter a 2-week trial period to demonstrate commitment, reliability, and teamwork.
Standard minimum activity is 10–20 hours per week, including ticket handling and, if possible, in-game supervision.
Staff must behave respectfully, professionally, and courteously at all times.
5. Team Meetings & Feedback
Regular team meetings are held to discuss server updates, feedback, and improvements.
Individual feedback sessions are organized to ensure staff members receive guidance and support.
6. Voluntary Contribution & Benefits
Staff positions are voluntary and unpaid, focusing on honorary service to the community.
Occasionally, the team organizes giveaways or provides special benefits for staff members.
